Default Big cloud of steam.

I had to park the Bonne today. When I stopped in the driveway at home, there was a huge cloud of steam, and the sweet smell of glycol permeated the air. It was too dark to see anything, so I'll have to wait till I have a chance to look during daylight hours. The temp guage was normal and the car was blowing heat, but what concerns me is the fact that the radiator cap was still cold after 20 mins of driving. It will be interesting to see what daylight brings.

If you find coolant in your oil, or evidence of the upper intake failure, drain your oil immediately so it doesn't rust out the bottom end of the engine.

No coolant in the oil. That was the first thing I checked. UIM was replaced 18 months ago. Actually, what I found was a gasket failure at the thermostat housing. I'll try to get a new one tomorrow, and a gallon of coolant and I should be good to go.
