One year old doesn't mean your plugs and wires are good. You can have an intermittent open or short on any wire. Make sure none of them touch metal. Spray a light mist of water on the wires in the dark and look for arcs.

Listen to willwren. I had a similar problem (unlike you, mine was more noticeable under acceleration) and I thought it was the transmission. After searching this forum, and reading posts by willwren, I replaced the plugs and wires. The problem cleared up and the car ran fine afterwards. Plugs and wires are a simple fix.
