NOW WAIT!!!
OK I really have a couple problems. First is my timing is off. Keep in mind my car is 115555 last I checked. What is the best way of changing out or setting the timeing on a 92 SSE? Second anyone have the instructions or a place to get detailed instructions to take apart a dash? I need to change out the little motor that opens and closes my heater vents. Since it is on the back upper haft of the calm shell removal of the dash is nessacary as you all know. Still think that'* EVIL!!! If anyone could give me a hand that would be great. Thanks!

as for timing you change the chain thats the only ways to adjust timeing gots to line up the timing marks if you do decide to put a new chain in get new gears and a new slack adjuster

I really wouldnt recommend skipping a notch in the chain to "adjust timing." on fuel injected cars with coil packs instead cap and rotor the computer will make automatic adjustments to the timing based on various information relayed back from the sensors. You could always try taking the cam to a machine shop and have them advance or retard the timing afew degrees, maybe get someone elses experience.

check all the sensors involved in the timeing, all the spark plugs and wires. check the coils to make sure they are runing at the best performance. I think all the sensors are the Knock sensor, the oxygen sensor, maf, throttle position sensor. I believe thats it. im not totally sure.

I have found a second grease MOnkey one who knows what he is doing. The way my car is running both him and my father believe it to be the timing... I just wanted to ask to see if it was something simple enough that I could do it.

Timing is entirely handled by the PCM. Sounds like a worn timing chain/gear/tensioner to me. Especially with those miles. Replace them all with OEM components, and you'll be fine.

Why do you think your vents are broken? Usually that happens when you have a vacuum leak. Open the hood and check for a hissing sound at the firewall, or anywhere between the throttle body and the HVAC system.

I believe my vents are broken because when we pulled out my heater core we did just that brut force pull. There is a motor on the upper none visable side that oparates opening and closing my heater vents... Since I have the screw that actaully pulls the vents open and closed sitting in my back seat I think It might be broken. Oh and the horrble heat that come pouring in from every vent whenever I drive...Forcing me to drive with all the windows down. 110mhp with windows down so you don't die SUCKS BALLS!
