Damaged tie rod end.
Hello all, I'm rather new around here as you will be able to tell from my post =D I had a question regarding the rear driver side wheel. My father was driving in the snow and backed into a white post, he was going very slow but there'* still damage =( The rear bumper moved slightly in when he backed int the post. Then the post hit the tire just perfect and it tweaked the wheel. The front end of the rear wheel is now slightly in the fender well and the back is sticking out. I was just wondering if anyone here has dealt with something similar. Pictures were taken from my phone, hopefully they come out clear..

If anyone can help me out on what I need or what needs to be done to fix it please let me know. I'm clueless atm and I would like to know about how much this will cost to fix. I was also told that it could possibly be fixed with simple heating / bending but I dont know how that will do. Anything will help me at this point ! Thanks alot !!!

Is that rim bent down at the bottom next to the rocks?
If you can, try and take some pictures of the suspension behind the wheel. We would like to see what happened to the lower A-arm.

Well obviously the rim is junk, so your best bet here is to jack it up and take the tire off and post up pics of whats bent behind the wheel.

Yes, the rim has a small bend on the the thin part right where the tire beads. It will need to be replaced. I will get some more pictures up of the inside asap! Need to get it jacked up then I will post more pictures. Thanks guys!

I'm suspecting he broke/bent the tie rod end (33) or he might have broken the A-arm bolts.
Who wants to place bets?

He sent the pictures to me in PM.
Can't really tell what happened.
We would like to see the tie rod that is in front of the a-arm if you could.

The space was very small so all these were taken from behind the wheel looking towards the front end.
