I need the torque sequence for the 3800 series II engine on the upper intake manifold. A.K.A Plenum. The plastic one.. I've looked everywhere for the sequence and I cannot find it. If anyone knows please help me.

89inch/lbs, but I strongly suggest you 'stage-torque' it. Set the wrench to 50 in/lbs, and do a zigzag up and back (front, rear, front rear, skipping every other one, and come back in an opposite zigzag).
Then repeat the sequence at 89 in/lbs.

Alright... I'll try that.. So there is no specific sequence to torue them down? Just zig zag and then alternate zig zag?
Thanks admin! =)

That'* it. You'll be fine. Just keep in mind, if you replaced your UIM and left the EGR stovepipe stock, you WILL have a failure again that may cost you your motor.
The Dillon UIM produced and sold (for $60) on this Forum and the Buttermore reduced-diameter stovepipe are the best options for longevity, bar none. I've dealt with both products personally on another member'* car, and will speak for the quality and design of both.

Oh.. That was very useful information. I just started looking into this today and I did notice something like that but I didn't give it too much attention.. I know what your talking about with the stovepipe though.. They reduced the size to let it keep cool a little bit more so that what happened won't happen again... So thanks again for your information. Hopefully I can conjour up enough money to buy that piece. AWWW!! I bought my UIM for like around $110! :? :( Where can I find the Buttermore stovepipe at? Is it located on this forum?

Here'* a link to a discussion about the UIM, including Bill Buttermore explaining about different parts of it. You can send him a PM about the stove pipe.

If you would like an "official" torque sequence, this is it.

As you'll see, it'* as Bill said - a zigzag pattern is pretty much it.
