I believe that you have the Series 1 L27.

Read that page, that should show you the rundown of the RPO numbers for your engine.

22 is TPS. 92 should be adjustable. Try that first. You'll need a voltmeter at the very least or a scantool. You have to probe one wire (middle wire of the connector) for 0.2-0.74v at rest.

39 is a TCC (torque converter clutch) problem. What rpm's do you run at 55mph in OD? What does your trans fluid look and smell like?

43 is a knock sensor. Make sure it's connected. Otherwise replace it. It will not prevent you from starting or cause a stall. It will retard your timing by 10° until you fix it.

Stalling

Well I got the problem fixed. It turned out to be a TPS. Gouged me $180 bucks  But what do you do. I really appreciate everyone's help. I just wish I would have found this site sooner. Thanks. :D

Ouch. That's 3x what I pay.

LakevilleSSEi 05-30-2006 05:53 PM

Did that fix ALL your posted issues?

Stalling

Yes, I was pretty amazed that just one sensor could causee that many problems. Now the car has some power. Now I can start cleaning it up.

Good glad to hear it, now get it cleaned up and get some good pics up here :)
