Advice needed
My bonny has developed 4 faults in quick succession
1. Rattle from the engine sounds like a pully noise
2. Power steering noise on turns and steering feels gritty
3. Air con has suddenly stopped working
4. Tranny sounds noisy at low speed
It'* a 95 SLE with 123,000 miles. Should I get rid or repair. I have had it from new and have generally taken good care of it with oil changes etc every 3000 miles
It has the CCR option

Is the rattle just at idle then goes away? Then I'd suspect the harmonic balancer. Otherwise, if the AC quit just after the rattle started, it might be the clutch on the AC compressor.
Check the fluid level of the Power steering?

I generally agree with the previous post. When my balancer failed it went from a small rattle to ungodly noise after about 15 miles. If you hear a loud metallic clunk when you start the car, it'* the balancer. And steering the car will change the sound. If you can't tell what it is, just wait until it gets louder !!

All of these problems could be related one way or another either because of the balancer or perhaps an idler pulley is seizing up on you. I'd be checking around the belts and all the pulleys for signs of problems.
