So how hard is it to change the hole shaft?

also does any one know where to get a split boot for an inner? cant seem to find one.

for now iv been just pumping grease in the every 3-4days..

Pete bought one recently and didn't use it. Might still have it.

Axle is pretty easy.
Jack and support
Remove tire
Remove brakes and disc.
Loosen axle nut leaving nut on last few threads. Whack with big hammer to free it from the wheel hub.
Unbolt sway bar end link
Remove ball joint cotter pin and nut, using ball joint seperating fork..pop ball joint. Pull old axle out..put new in and reassemble.

BTW.. if you can make it til you are here..Axle was $40 my cost.

cool thanks, i was looking for that on there website and i couln't find that inner qick boot. but now ill try that, i really dont want to take out the hole thing.

hopfuly my local store can order it

I would never use a split boot they never last ,, change the hole shaft not the expensive.
