Default Removing Factory Exhaust Tips

:?:
I bought some nice dual exhaust tips for my '97 SSEi. How do I remove the factory tips? I tried to remove them but they're rusted. Is there a trick? What tools are needed? Once removed, can I just bolt-on the new tips to the tail pipes?

If your stock tips are rusted or bonded to the pipes.. you will find cutting as suggested above is the easiest route. Check your measurements and see if that is feasible.
