Small Drift to the right?
Before I replaced my tires, my car tracked straight and true without the hands on the wheel.
Yesterday, I had the tires replaced and on the way home, it pulled to the right pretty bad. I checked the tire pressure, it was 27 psi all the way around so I reinflated it to 35 psi and the pull is less severe but still there. I'm still uncomfortable with the fact that I have a small drift to the right when I let go of the wheel.
Does new tires causes this because I told my dad about this and he said it'* probably the new tires... :?:
It just drifts to the right now...but not bad.

Forgot to mention that they're directional. so I can't rotate the front two and I just had the tires installed yesterday...
I checked the calipers for heat, the left and the right feels the same.

maybe get your alignment checked? i know you said it was ok before the new tires, but heck its worth a try. because when you have low pressure in your tires it increases rolling resistance quite a bit, and whichever way the tire can push back and get relief is the way the wheel will go., the only way the car will let one push off to one side and not the other side equally is alignment. thats about my only thought on this.
Edit: also, check your drums for drag also! i had that problem on my electra of a dragging drum and it would horrifically pull.

I had an alignment done about 10K miles ago so it should be still aligned.

Good idea or no?

I personally would take it back and tell them that since they did the tires you have a drift to the right and see what they will do for you.
