My car does the same thing at the same speed. I've heard others say the same thing.

Ok..thanks for everyone'* reply

I will drive it on regular Drive, its pretty annoying when it shakes as it seems it could cause an accident, but yet it only does it for 2 seconds or until i tap the brakes, but what if i cant tap the brakes cause there'* a car behind me going 60,lol (just joking..kinda)

My car looks much older than a 96 because of the paint job and gold spoke rims,i really want some new rims!! and a paint job,its bright red color the roof is peeling, and front corner bumper is broken/cracked spray painted fender (i think) but Betsey is NICEE other than that.

PS. if i were to change my oil/filter what would be the best oil to use?

10w-30 full mobile 1 synthetic -Should i use this same kind?or is there "better" and how many quarts?

96 ssei 105k miles

dont know what oil is currently in her

10w-30 is recommended, 10w-40 is a lil thicker, some recommend it for higher mileage cars but as long as you dont have any noise comming from the motor I'd go with 10w-30

and its 5qts... go to walmart, they usually have a 5gal container for Mobil1, get a funnel, and get a GOOD filter, ie Wix, Mobil1, AcDelco, etc (prolly not at walmart lol - Advance Auto, AutoZone, Pepboys)...

The rims could also be bent and if you hit the gas at around 45-50 where you said the shaking starts does it go away? Thats hen the overdrive gear generally starts to kicks in.The overdrive gear just so you know is intended to help your car run at high speeds in a lower RPM range making the car get better Gas mileage.
