Service Engine Soon
 

This past Friday my car was stuck on some ice so I put the pedal to the metal and was finally unstuck after a few back-and-forward moves. Then after a few mintues my Service Engine Soon light came on.

Yesterday I ran a code test and I got three codes: 12, 41, 58

Then I disconnected the battery and the light still stayed on. Does anyone know how to turn it off? And what would cause these codes to appear? If anyone out there can help it would be great help.

u should be able to clear the codes with a scan tool

Yes, that should clear them, unless you are still having the same problem, then they will come right back.
