My dad claims my 99 SSEi has a voice system that told him the door was open... I've never heard such a thing. I guess he was playing with the aftermarket stereo, and hooked up the factory wires since some idiot clipped them from the harness. Radio didn't work, but voice system did. Now radio is working with the idiot'* speaker wire that runs under the door trim, but there'* no trace of a voice system.

Anyone know if this thing has one? I like to think my dad is just hearing things as he gets older

If mine has a voice, it'* got a pretty limited vocabulary - pretty much "Ding" and "Buzz"
