Default 96 Bonneville ticking noise

Hey everybody, I just want to say thanks so much for all the help that I've received in the past. You guys are awesome!

My Bonneville has a very annoying ticking noise. If it were just the noise it wouldn't be much of a problem but there is also a hesitation problem with it. It seems as if it hesitates when it gets to around 30 mph (give or take) it takes a while to shift and then it thrusts itself onto the next gear. Then it'* fine after that.

This problem happened after I took it to the mechanic shop around 6 weeks ago. They replaced my fuel pump and MAF. But I didn't take it back because once I swapped the wires and plugs for new ones (around 2 weeks ago), it went away. The hesitation problems also stopped and everything seemed as if it was fixed. But today the noise started again when I accelerated quick out of a parking lot into the street. Now it'* back and annoying as ever.

Here is the video of the sound:

Any guesses at what it can be? I know it'* hard to pin point exactly what it is but maybe someone has had this noise on their vehicle and may point me into the right direction. Thanks!

shot in the dark, sounds like a bearing on one of the serpentine belt driven accessories, my first guess would be alternator, but could be any of them including the idler pulley. gift wrap cardboard tube would work as a redneck mechanic'* stethoscope to isolate the noise.

Tran fluid is not low.

Well something weird happened. Today I started the car and the noise is very quiet now. I can still hear it but definitely not as loud as in the video.
