I can give you more information once I'm reunited with my FSM in about 8 hours. Sorry about the bluntness...it was a poor attempt at early morning humor.

I'm assuming you have the SLE package. Check the trunk lid. After you remove the carpet, you'll see a cable coming from the trunk lid lock cylinder to a small white connector and wiring harness. Disconnect the harness, and see if the light goes out.

Fans are on without the key running. There are two relays for fans in the maxifuse relay cernter for the fan operation. One controls low speed and one controls high speed.

They operate normally when the PCM sends a ground to the relay. PCM sends ground to the low speed when it sees temp of 215. PCM sends ground to the high speed when the A/C is turned on or it sees temp of 225.

The power should be switched and therefore even if they were grounded they should not be on w/o the key in the run position.

Look for added wires and or obvious things that have been changed.

Rats. Read this post and thought I had a solution.

My security light has been on 6 months.

Pulled the connector mentioned.

It'* still on.
