Really not a lock monitor....but with the keyless, the car nows the diffreernece with being locked from the inside, or locked with the keyless. If the cars locked from the inside and the windows are down when you leave the car, you can unlock and open from the inside and tha alarm won't go off/.....I don't think. But if you leave the windows down and lock the doors with the key fob, and try to do it from the inside the alarm will sound as soon as you pull the door handle.

FYI Keyless doesn't give you that security system, only some SSE/i'* have it.
If you lock it with power locks or fob, and try to open it manually by the slider, THEN it goes off from my understanding.

Depends all on how the vehicle is locked, and how it'* opened.
