Default O2 sensor fun

My O2 sensors (I have more than one right...?) are reeeeally dead. I am also really broke. Is this something that would be too hard to do by myself, or maybe if someone helped me? Firestone said it would cost a lot :(

You only need to replace the front one for fuel mileage concerns, unless the rear is throwing a code. It will not affect drivability even if fully dead.

The front sensor can be replaced easier than a spark plug with nothing more than a crescent wrench. Use ONLY an AC Delco sensor.

i may not need a new one just yet...one of my spark plug wires was resting right on the sensor, which i'm told can throw it off, so i'll wait about a tank of gas to see how that affects things. of course, if i do need a new sensor, i won't be able to afford it because i'll need gas

Would Denso be an acceptable alternative to AC Delco? They seem to be a bit cheaper. Either way BOSCH is the devil!! Stay away from that one

If you're asking me, maybe on the SLE. I know it needs one. My focus is more on the other car at the moment...I'll get to it eventually. I know Intense carries the Denso so I can't imagine it'd be bad.
