Shocks
I came across the Bonneville Club when my 1998 SSE had a cracked plenum a few weeks ago.
This site had some helpful information about that.
Glad I got the extended warranty.
I got my '98 SSE used in 2001.
I was wondering how long the shocks usually last on the Bonneville?
Looks like I have to get new tires.
Thanks a lot for a great web site,
Kent

all of our bonneville'* lasted well over 100,000 on the shocks without any problems. my riv has the original struts too at 101,000 miles and it still rides ok, a little bouncy but not too horrible. They usually last until around 110,000-120,000.

Mine are still good at 42k, so I dont know how long they will last, but I will replace them with KYB GR2 struts, they are very reasonably priced and have a lifetime warranty!
