rough running 1994 ssei

I just got a fuel injector from another memer it looks different tho are the 1992-1995 l67 injectors the same as far as flow rates and stuff? I think this might be the cause of the rough running?

willwren 12-05-2006 04:08 PM

Get a scantool. Your car will log misfires. Clean your injectors. All 92-95 L67 injectors are the same. 29lb/hr. Can we see some pics?

BLACK94SSEi 12-05-2006 04:36 PM

Can I ask what promted the injector swap? was it running rough before you replaced the injector?

1993 SLE 12-05-2006 05:58 PM

the Injector that i sent was from a 92-95 L67, and on that i am 100% positive... out of the 2 sets that i have here, they all look the same...... that one came out from the matching sets

Do your injectors have a part number on them. I've never seen your year L67 looking like that.

1337ssei 12-05-2006 07:19 PM

sorry this is for a 94 not my 97

1337ssei 12-05-2006 07:22 PM

this car was given to me by a friend I dont know much about it its not in the best condition I can go look for a part number tho
btw what purpose do the metal clips serve on top of the injector?

1337ssei 12-05-2006 07:27 PM

01d034B is the only thing I can find on the black ones

That doesn't sound like a GM part number to me! It would only have numbers.

"280150934" is what I have on 12 injectors in front of me from different 93 L67s. I bet the one Pat sent you has that same number. The number is on the gray part of the injector.

Your black ones look like a different shape too :?

Double check the vacuum lines. I left one off when I did my Lower intake Gaskets and had a rough idle and it stalled. If they all seem to be hooked up, then check for any cracks or break points.

1337ssei 12-07-2006 05:02 PM

well if I unplug the IAC it will idle alot better
it still has a misfire tho

1993 SLE 12-07-2006 05:14 PM

what cyl is the misfire on?? the misfire should be either current with the CE flashing or it will be a stored code......

have you pulled codes, and if so what are they

1337ssei 12-08-2006 04:31 PM

where can I get somone that has a scanner for it auto zone says they cant?

1337ssei 12-09-2006 10:35 PM
