Default Starters

Since I crushed my old starter in a crash I eventually have to get a new one.
If I remember right I should get one for an SSEi since they are gear reduced?
Does anyone know if the later series 2 or series 3 starters are smaller? The one from my 95 was huge.
(This is for a 95 L36 BTW)
TIA.

Gear reduced are smaller. Not sure if the S1 and S2 flywheel and location are the same though. Try a cross reference on the starters from 94 to 95 NA'* or similar.
