Replacement Fuel line

On Thursday night, my engine started smoking and I experienced a massive loss in performance. She stalled out and white smoke started coming from under the hood. It smelled like burnt plastic.

I had it towed...to make a long story short, the plug that leads from the block heater to the coolant line blew out. The sudden loss of engine coolant blew out my thermostat rendering the gage useless. The white smoke was coolant dripping onto the hot manifold They are going to replace the coolant, block heater and thermostat.

When it was up on the hoist, we notice that the fuel line that runs along the driver side was pretty rusty.

How much will that cost to repair :?:

the dealer can order you an exact replacement for the fuel line. if you do this, i would also replace the return line that it right next to it too. the lines that you get from a dealer will come as a complete unit. sometimes its a little tricky to get them in place, but its well worth it to do it this way than to piece them together with rubber hose. the last GM fuel line i got from the dealer ran about 70 bux. your dealer can give you an exact price on the cost of the line.
