Default In the process of drying out carpet/matting

Here is a picture of how wet the underside of my carpet was on the drivers side. There are a few cracks in the metal which I'm guessing is where the water came in. I managed to suck out around a gallon or more of water from the underside of the carpet. I used an ordinary household upholstery cleaner rather than a shopvac, I wanted to be able to see if I was sucking water out or not. Still more there though that I'm airing out right now.

Also I ran into another issue with my heat control while fooling with my CD player. Here'* what it looks like...

What the hell do those 3 lines mean?!

sad to say.. but the leaks are prolly not from the hole you found under the carpet... that would be a drain hole if anything

I very well could have pulled another wire or something. I'll check the next time I look at the car. Today I don't think I'm going to. The whole issue has been rather stressful with having to rush stuff before the temperature drops and all that. I don't think going into the whole thing with a not so good attitude would be pretty. For now I'm going to take a break for a day or two and just relax then take care of the problems as best I can with the current weather and other issues.

Sometimes the take a breath and go back later is the best method. Being such a long thread..Jr'* leak one might be a good read while taking that break to give you the possible places for leaks. Also there'* sunroof, if equipped.
