Default Clunking from front end?

Hey guys, I have a clunking from the front of my car when I hit potholes. It sounds like It'* coming from the passenger side foot well area. How do I check the ball joints and the tire rod ends? I also need to check the sway bar end links. Is there a way to check them other than visually? Is there anything else I should look for? Thanks for your help!!

lift car up

grab wheel and see if there is any movement.

sway bar links should be replaced IMO anyway with the kit mentioned numerous times here.
