Default 99 Bonneville is jerking while driving

SO my car has been jerking while I drive it for about a month and a half now. I have taken it to my local mecahnic and had my Trans pressure contol solenoied repaced with little improvement ,spark plugs repalced and coil packs replaced. But still no improvement! :( Does any one have ant ideas to what this may be?

Can you give us some more symptoms? Does it only jerk when the torque converter clutch is engaged? Do the rpms change when it jerks? What speeds and throttle positions does it happen at?

its a 99 sle. It jerks mostly from a standing start, crusing speed and when I really step on the gas. it just feel like all the power is there but its just not going any where when I really gas it. and the check engine light came on at random times and it sometimes blinks.

You need to retreive the codes. AutoZone can do it for free. Report back with those codes. That will be the first troubleshooting step.

I just want to get a whole new motor at this point. Is that possible to put the supercharged Bonne motor in? If so what year and where can I find one?

Its probably cheaper to just by an SSEi Bonneville.

Pull your codes, its free and takes less than 5 minutes. Plus if you still want a SSEi, a good running engine/car sells for more than a bad running one
