that is a common problem with the 92-99 bonnies. Randman is correct no one ever said that it was just pointing out that i have the EXACT problem and my drivers door seal has shrunk. There have been many others that have water entering the cabin and most of the time people with out a moonroof have had bad door seals

i was wondering how can you tell if the weather stripping has shrunk in size? what should the orginal size be?

Make sure the door seal is fully engaged on the seam in all corners of the door opening and check the gap along the sill (you may have to partially remove the sill trim to do this). The gap is usually more pronounced in the rear than the front but typically the two ends don't meet.

The above link is a post by harofreak00 that shows a gap in the seals and what he did to correct it.

isn't there a dollar bill trick u can do to see if the weather stripping is sealing good or not?

how much would new weather stripping cost for a 95 boneville? what place would have good price for weather stripping

an arm and a leg plus your first born child for new GM, but go to any salvage yard and find a 92-99 bonne, all door seals are the same through thoes years

leak wet drivers floor

I have a 95 ssei, i was getting water in my car from where the parking brake cable enters the car in the front corner of the car on the drivers side. I havent yet replaced the ebrake cable system so it leaks a bit. I get Rust Check done on my car every year so there is no rust anywhere. But hopefully thats were the water is coming from.
