rear passenger and driver floor getting wet with water??

i have a 1995 bonneville and it has been raining the past few days and i notice in the driver and passenger rear floor is soak with water? i don't understand how the floor is getting wet like that, its like a small puddle, does anyone know what the problem may be? i was wondering if there are any plastic plugs under the floor pan?

I can't make much out in the pic I'm pretty tired. Well like I said check your trunk and seals and whatnot. Hopefully the picture will help you out. Let me know how it goes.

leak

Most leaks come from the top and find their way to the floor.
Does your car have a moonroof? If so there are four drains. If one gets plugged it will leak down the pillar to the floor. Same goes for the windshild and body seams.
The only way to really tell is pull the carpet back on that side of the car and water test it.

common weter leaks are as follows

moonroof drain tubes clogged or disconnected
rear window seal leaking

and the one that I think it would be because i have a similar problem:
your door seals have shrunk

no my car has no moon roof, i checked the back seats and they are dry, the trunk is also dry, its wet along the floor on the passenger and driver side right behind the seat a small puddle is forming, also the roof is dry, so iam thinking and guessing that this water is coming from the bottom?

yes i have a similar problem. It only gets wet when its raning. my drivers door seal is bad. Water enters ontop on the B pillar and runs down the B pillar and then onto the floor right behind the drivers seat

there are rubberseals that go around all the doors, that shrink over the years and let water in.

1993 SLE has the most probable cause. Water runs down against the edge of the door seal molding until it reaches a place where the molding has pulled away from the pinchweld opening a path to the interior, the water continues down on the INSIDE edge of the door until it hits the step, where it runs under the carpet and into your rear footwells. If this is your problem, the fix is pretty easy. You pull the molding apart at the bottom seam creating a gap of about an inch or two, then push the molding back where it belongs all along the pinchweld.

Others here have then filled the gap by various means, the best suggestion (sorry I can't remember who offered this) was to find a seal from a junkyard and cut a little piece to fill the gap you just created. Keeps out the dust and noise.

Good luck

my weather stripping looks good on all the doors, what would be a good way to diagnose and find this leaking problem? what have you guys done to find a leak?

This worked pretty well for me:
