Default Noise--alternator or belt?

I'm getting a LOUD consistent noise from the alternator side of the engine. That belt was replaced about 3 years back and doesn't look to be damaged. I'll try to record the noise tomorrow morning...but off hand, anyone have an idea?

Pull the belt and check all the pulleys, also check the water pump and AC compressor for anything that'* not smooth.
