Transmission Question...
Hey guys, I just have a quick question. Will the transmission from an Oldsmobile Eighty Eight (LSS im guessing) bolt up with no modifications and work with franky'* 97 ssei drivetrain or is something slightly different on the eighty eights?
the reason i ask is franky'* transmission is on its way out real fast, its not standing up to the power from the engine, ironically it started right after i put on the 3.4 pulley the other day. all the gears are shifting wayyyyyy too soft like its slipping on the shifts and if i floor it sometimes it hits the rev limiter before it shifts, also it has a delay before reverse engagement when its hot. I have changed the fluid twice now in it in the hope that it was that but i guess it isnt because its making no difference. :(

On the LSS...you need to look up the specs etc like Wren mentioned to make sure its the same year and same ratio.
Other than that.. double check the connectors etc.
