Radio bulb and security light
I have a 96 Bonne, and the L.E.D. light is out on the radio, where the time and station is displayed. Where can I get a new light bulb for this. It is small. I also need the bulb holder that goes into the board. Cause when I tried to remove the old bulb, it just crumbled in my hand.
As far as the security goes, I read in the book that on your key there is a chip, and if the chip is dirty that it will throw the security up. Well I cleaned the chip, and the light is still on. Is there a sensor, or a fuse that I can undo, to make the light go out on the dash display.
Thanks for any help on these items.

We've had a few people have some success in repairing the LED'* in the radio. You might check out Radio Shack or a similiar type of store.

Most auto parts stores or Electronics/Electrical cleaner. It'* an aerosol and non volatile solvent. Just don't flood the ignition switch! Spray liberally and then run your key in and out a few times and wipe the key off each time.

As far as the radio goes, I just fixed mine a couple weeks ago. I had a couple extra side marker bulbs from my 72 Nova lying there and after looking things over, I bent the wire leads of the bulb out to the sides and soldered them to the radio bulb contacts. Works great! It was the old 194 "peanut bulb" they called them.
