Default Ok anyone else sick of how much washer fluid is used,man..

:( when I use the washer button they dump a ton of fluid on the windsheild any way to changethe pump or something this thing goes thru a gallon a week! Sometimes you only need a lite squirt but it still dumps bunch its overkill,any ideas

Ya man, that really bugs me too. Don't have any knowledge on how to change it though.

i went through a gallon in 1 hour the other day haha

damn snow...

im sure its just a relay somewhere...just cancel that out and you could have it hot off the switch..would be a neat mod

Yea, hopefully it wont get stuck one day. But there is a ton of fluid that comes out, never had another car that sprayed this much

i definitely hear ya on that one. i said something the other day to someone in the car, and they were like-what do you mean it sprays lots of fluid? i was like, it shoots out way more than you need, and i thought maybe it was just mine that did it.

Sprays too much? I just turn the button on my stack for as much as I want, when I release it the spraying stops.

Yeah I think you have to have the wipers already turned on and hit the thing for a certain period of time and then it will stop when you take your hand off but sometimes it just keeps going.

Hmm...never seen that in a Pontiac. I would be very interested in this mod, though!!

Like others have said, it seems like it'* time-controlled or something. If you hold down the spray switch long enough it will quit when you quit, but if you give it a quick burst it will keep spraying for a certain length of time. Somebody who has a bigger brain than I do please figure out how to mod this!
