power steering pump
I changed the pump in Jan of 08 but the pump whines. I did the proper bleed by having the front wheels up off the ground engine off and turning wheel lock to lock.
Even after doing this twice a few weeks apart with at least 75 turns of the wheels , I can still see air bubbles in the reservour when doing this. I don't have any leaks but air must be getting in somewhere , could it be the steering rack or could a line be sucking air without leaking ? maybe a bad pump?
Anyone with ideas I realy hate the way the car sounds.

I should have said the 99 FSM says not to turn it lock to lock. I don't know if the pump design changed or if GM just changed the bleeding procedure. If either of you want the scans PM with an email address.
