Update - Stuttering cause has been found
This was what I wrote in a thread about 2-3 weeks ago.......
I started to disassemble the engine to fix the UIM I saw this...........
and this
This is the #1 plug wire, it was right against the fan blade.
I guess I will see if it fixes it once I put it all back together, I am sure it will........

Wow, good find there. Was it the cooling fan blades right side? That gully in the wire was carved out by rotation of the cooling fan, eh?

Good catch, Nick. I wonder if you could have found the bad wire by looking close at night with the engine running. Sometimes you can see the arc flash from bad wires in the dark.

Nick check the resistance on the coil packs to ensure the coil didn't degrade due to the apparent arching. I doubt it did. But the test is free..
Good find. If you started it and looked at this motor in the dark, an apparent spark jump should have been seen.
One way to test for good plug wires is to clean your motor.
(Skip cleaner)

A performance difference would be noticed.

As far as a spark jump in the dark, I don't think that would have happened because everyting around the wire was PLASTIC. I think there may have been a spark buble but not a jump to a ground surface, does what I just wrote this make sense?
