Could someone repost the keyless entry zip file posted by NTL1991 in this thread.
It'* not on the filefactory anymore.

I just got a 99 Buick LeSabre and have no fobs (nor a clue about these systems) but trying to learn the best way to add this feature.

Thanks!

If you don't have pin #8, then you don't have keyless entry.

Is it a Limited? If so, it most likely had the keyless entry. If a Custom, I believe keyless was a part of packages added to the Custom.

Looking through the RPO codes may tell you the code for keyless entry. Look on the cover of the spare tire in the trunk for the code for keyless. If it'* not there, then your car may not have all the wiring for it.

Best would be to ask at a Buick garage.

If pin 8 is not there and it'* needed for programming manually, that'* a big hint.

Default 2005 LeSabre?

Does anyone know if this procedure will allow me to program the remotes for a 2005 LeSabre?

Thanks...

There is no onboard programming procedure for the 2005 LeSabre. This vehicle requires special equipment be connected to the vehicle to program the keyless remote.

Mike, Buick Lesabre 2000-2005 can't be "driver programmed". 1999 and below Lesabres' can. 2000-2005 Park Avenue also can't be "driver programmed". 2005 allure can't be driver programmed. 2005 LaCrosse can't be driver programmed.

Some 2000-2005 Buicks can be driver programmed such as the Century, Rainer, Regal, and Rendezvous.

Thanks for the input, guys. I've read of this "special equipment" requirement elsewhere and suspected there might be a way around it. (I don't pay much heed to "No User-Serviceable Parts Inside" warnings; I've found they're almost universally misleading. )
