3800 compressor ticking?
Upon closer inspection, my tensioner arm appears fine. I looked at some other videos on YouTube and it moves like all the other 3800'* do.
What I did notice was a ticking noise when my AC compressor is off. When I turn on the AC, the noise is almost gone. The noise is definitely coming from the bottom left of the engine. Has anyone ever heard something like this?
Despite this sound, the air conditioning is still as cold as ever, and the engine runs beautifully.

This video makes it sound far worse than it is. It'* not nearly this loud, and it'* unnoticeable from in the car. (And again, excuse the gratuitous tensioner shots.)

I'll order the tool and give it a shot. It should be a challenge with it mounted on the car, but what choice do I have? I'm sure it will only get worse. What kind of feeler gauge would I need?
BTW, the video in your write-up is missing.
