Default Power Steering Cooler HELP

Well my cooler is damages and leaks every now and then. I was wondering if it would be ok to do what i drew up in the picture. I dont think the cooler does much cooling because of its location. A new one cost a hundred plus from dealer. And the age of my car its not worth it. Please tell me what you think.

You'll probably be ok for the winter, assuming you can find a fitting to combine the two, but I'd still at least consider a salvaged part from the wrecker or someone here parting out a car before spring. If your PS fluid gets hot enough to boil, you're in for a surprise, and your pump will probably protest as well.
