Default keyless entry/door lock question

k, so i've never had any problems with my keyless til about 3 weeks ago. i went to unlock the door, and ..nothing. i could hear a click in the door(relay click), but no door pop. so i used the key to open the door. a few days later, the keyless started to work a gain. then a few days after that, it wasn't locking or unlocking. i checked the door lock fuse and it was blown, so i cahnged it. problem solved-for a few days anyway. now the lock works most of the time, but not always, and the unlock never works. this is the same for the key fob, and the lock/unlock button on the armrest. i know there'* a relay or something in the door for the keyless, but don't know exactly what'* up. if anyone'* ahd this problem or knows how i could check to see what'* wrong i'd really appreciate it. thanks.

It sounds like the driver door solenoid actuator is binding up. Do the other 3 doors lock/unlock properly?

no, man. none of the other locks work either-good thought though. it'* the unlock for the whole car that'* acting up. that'* why i was wondering what the relay in the door does for the keyless system. if i use the fob or the button inside the car(unlock) nothing happens with any of the door locks.

alright, so i read thorugh a few posts and went out and had a look at some things. i tried my pass. side unlock button on the armest-nothing. i felt the relay under the driver seat and can hear and feel it clicking. not sure what to look at next. i might go check the breaker i guess in the fuse panel, but would think if the realy'* being powered then that should be fine. i don't really know. haven't checked, but i was lookin at my manual-the locks shouldn't work at all if the breaker'* gone, i don't think anyway.

If you have an aftermarket alarm installed, it may have to do with that. I believe they tie into the door lock mechanism on the drivers side door to control the locks.
