Default Power seat won't recline

I saw an article on how to repair this problem. I have 9 way seats in the 93 SSEI.
Anyone know where to find fix?

There is a linkage disconnected between the seat and the center console. If you get under there with a flashlight, you'll find it.

When you fix it, come and do mine for me. (I just recently discovered the problem and haven't had time to repair it).

Or, there'a possible unhooked wire. Look for something not connected first..then follow up on the linkage.

If the seat doesn't respond at all, look for a connector. If it moves slightly like mine, but doesn't really go anywhere (you feel a bump in seat movement) it'* the linkage.

Not to butt in, but my seats do everything except recline and I even had the seat out a few days ago to pull my CCR. Neither one reclines, I push the button and they go errrrrrrrrrr and stop and do nothing.

Somebody in the club wrote an article on repairing this problem. I printed it and took it to a shop and had the drivers side repaired. Didn't get the printout back.
I Know it'* somewhere in the forum pages.

I smell motor movement. You should be able to get under there and figure out the problem.

Found this thread by searching "Seat Recline", lots of good info and testing in this one. There are tons of others as well. Right at our fingers, just a quick search away.
