my crashed bonneville'* hood just started not wanting to open (the mechanical remote latch part)... a while after the accident i had to unbolt the front "push-up" latch just to get it to open, but that was in the summer. the inside remote thing still worked, and now it doesn't. i try pulling on the cable with a pair of pliers but it does no good. what can i do?

I dont know how well goooshed it is in the front but I usually try hitting the top of the hood to release the latch while someone pulls the cable. Usually th vibration will cause the hood latch to free up. Hope that helps.
