95 ssei series 1. rattle
Hello everyone, I guess my money pit has opened up again for something, I have been noticing a rattle in the motor area on the passenger side near the supercharger and alternator, now the noise kinda sounds like a grinding, the belts are moving freely and there doesnt look to be unecssary movement, any help would be greatly appreciated, Once I give the car gas it gets a little louder, any help thanks all

Yes, thanks for the reply billboost, It only seems to make the noise while running, could it be the supercharger bearing, I havent replaced that yet? thanks

take the supercharger belt off, and run the car for no longer than 30 seconds - 1 minute and see if it still makes the same noise
if it does, take off the 2nd belt and try the same thing...
spinning the pullies by hand is not going to give you the same effect.

Took it to the dealership , 2500 parts and labour f that, What do I do now, Id rather try fixing it myself, and saving some money, And links or directions will be greatful thanks alot, I always seem to get ahead of the game, then Bam kick to the nads!

New / junk yard charger. Or pay gm 5500 for a new one, f that ****, Im pissed, its just rattling right now I know it can be saved

The supercharger is not functioning so the dealer told me, The coupler must have gone bad, The coupler has never been replaced, so thats the deal, Now I have to get this car home and pull of the supercharger, are there any links on this site for replacing the coupler on the series 1 as well were can I order parts from? Thanks
