Does anyone have a detailed list of removing and replacing the motor. I found the ones with the trans included but havent found one with just the motor. I know just about everythign but i would like a detailed list, that way i dont have to call Bill every 5 minutes if i get stuck

I removed the accessory bracket and the exhaust manifolds entirely, just to have more wiggle room if needed. Not necessary, I suppose. Don't forget the oil cooler lines if you have one. Don't forget both radiator hoses either. I left the fans where they were, but that may have only been possible because I pulled the exhaust manifolds off.

Yes John...you took the harder of the two roads. The exhaust manis were designed to come out with the motor after unbolting only 2 bolts to the down pipe.. Meanwhile..if you remove the fans.. and leave the rad in the car..there is tons of room. Being a 95 SE he shouldn't have the oil lines to contend with.

About 75-85% with removing the motor. All i have left is the PS pump, DP bolts, torque axis and the 4 trans to engine bolts. We took our time and were also doing Don'* (firebuicks) Ported LIM and New upper. Which we finished. But all in all it was a great day and got lots of stuff done. Thank you again Bill for the directions they have been a great help so far.

At noonish..Don'* car was done and you were unhooking a knock sensor. Although..I think I remember a valiant battle with the torque converter bolts..lol
Git'r done.. the second one will be easier and quicker..and reinstall will also be easy/quick.

Dons car was apart at noonish lol, then after lunch we put it back together. Actualyl right after we got off the phone with you we got the bolts. We ran into a problem afterwards and decided to throw the towel in for the night. What i needed was a deep socket for the DP bolts. I am going to finish taking it out this weekend

Motor is out of the black car. We ran into our problems but bill was a great helped and talked me through all obsticles. Thanx again bill. As for the white car, the car is going down to my garage this weekend, and probably going to start next week on taking the motor out. That should go much easier now i know alot of short cuts and what not. Once that motor is out (hoping by next weekend) then i am ordering my parts from ZZP. I already have some of my new toys here
