Check oil level light
I have a question about this.
When I start the car I see the light blink, like it is just barely noticable if you really look for it. Give the car 5-30 seconds and the light comes on again. This time it will stay on between 10sec and maybe 2 minutes Then it will go off until the next start up, in which it does it all over again.
Any ideas on the cause of this? or is it "normal"?

Posts like a Ricer Type-R
That sensor is your oil LEVEL sensor. It comes through the gasket for the oil pan. The oil PRESSURE sensor is in the back of the block, near your PS pump.
If your oil isn't actually low, check the wiring to the oil level sensor, if that'* ok, drop the pan and replace it.
Use a NEW OEM gasket. Not cork.
