PCV housing

Wait... we're talking about a L36, right? Pretty sure that is the right part. The Dorman part is slightly different from stock, IIRC, so its slightly less likely to break.
I'll double check mine tomorrow... I have a spare Dorman package in the garage.
If we're talking L67, then the housing is completely different.

I've attached a photo of the Dorman PCV housing with my stock MAP sensor. As you'll see, it fits the MAP fine (though mine is a bit crooked there), but in a slightly different way than stock. The Dorman housing, IMHO, is less likely to break as the plastic becomes brittle. The stock housing "fingers" are so easy to break, that I don't think I've ever gotten one apart without breaking at least one finger.

Its not causing a vacuum leak, so I'm not screwing with it for now.
The engine in the car was running very good when the tranny finally died. Only thing I could wish for is MORE POWA! Well, actually, a bit more oil pressure would have been nice, as it used to be ~60-70psi, but now lives more like ~30-40. Its nowhere near as low as my worn out 307 was... which would 'pulse' the idiot light at idle... apparently that is like 4-5 psi. Whoops!

I ended up breaking the MAP sensor putting it into the new housing, so I gotta buy another new MAP sensor. :/ It'* a hard as hell time to put it together!
Also, making sure...did you have a spring with your pcv?

I can see why some guys would toss the spring in frustration, but I don't think thats a great idea.
