Default LIM Gasket Progress w/pics.

Well, heres the update with some pics. Got it all tore down, but I wasn't planning on removeing the supercharger from the lower intake to try and save a few gaskets. But there were two bolts that were just not gonna allow that. Oh well, not the end of the world. Since I have the extra vehicle and time, I'm also gonna be sending out my injectors to the guy Willwren knows and get them flow matched and try to get them as close as I can to being really good. Should I try and do any proting with the */C and LIM manifold?? Any noticeable gains or effects from doing that?

On with the pics.

Here is what my engine looked like when I started today.

so it cost you about 20 bucks in gas just so you wouldn't have to scrap the gasket off??

1/2 way there.

LOL nah....it was like 10 bux in fuel (gas is cheap right now, and I had it laying around from something or another.)

All the gasket material came off withouth leaving anything behind, but I just wanted to soak it to remove all the grime that'* on it from the LIM gasket leaking and the valve cover gaskets leaking before I got the car.

Doesn't look bad for 209,000 miles.
