High RMPS (3 or 4 k) in Park, Neutral, and Reverse
So i have a 94 bonneville se with only 88k on it and starting yesterday when i put the car in park, neutral or reverse it revs real high. When in drive the car accelerates a little sluggish but shifts like normal. Both pedals are harder than normal to press down. what does this mean?
thanks for any help

You may have a bad TPS sensor, but I'm not sure. As for your sluggish feel, when is the last time you had a full tune-up (plugs, wires, pcv valve, oil change, fuel filter).
EDIT: Other things I just thought of could be your IAC valve, EGR valve, or a worn throttle body gasket, but I doubt that.

Its either your IAC or your TPS most likely. You'd have to check on a scantool to see the readings, but you can check a few things.
Unplug the TPS while the car is running and note the difference.
OH, and Do you have an SES light on? If not, its more likely that its your IAC
