Havent checked for leaks yet.

edit: UPDATE

after wiggleing and pulling and pushing the only connector i can see on the AC/heater case, it started to work momentarily.
The next day it did not work, so i did the same- It came on and has been working well since.

Here you are.. straight from the Mechanical/Other section of Techinfo.

http://www.bonnevilleclub.com/forum/...e=article&k=63

I'd suggest this one over the Hans version (which was an alcohol modified version to begin with) as you may not have a little sister with small enough hands.

Being in Canada.. you realize..it is probably too cold out for the AC to kick on and blow warmer than outside temps at you?

I think it has a temp of 48F that it needs to be to kick on.

Actually I think you may have wanted to post that the FAN isnt' working.

Now we need to know if the blower motor is running?
If yes, the evap cleaning is your first step.
If no, then it'* off to look at relays and tapping on the motor housing.

Assuming you don't have the electronic climate control, the blower should start up as soon as you select a fan speed and the system is not in the "off" position.

yeah i believe it is the fan.. as nothing goes on as i switch through the different heating /AC settings. If it was clogged a bit would still come through.

fawck ... looks like im gonna have to tackle it during the weekend.

thanks a bunch for your help Bill.

Weekend?

First check to see that the motor is getting power to run.

If you have to change the blower motor.. it'* a 30 minute job. Very easy on these cars.
