Only 1 o2 sensor on a 95?

When I was under the car chaning the transmission fluid i looked for the second O2 sensor after the cat. But there was none. Is it somewhere else? The 94 has 2 too. So it couldnt be a left over.

When i was under the car i noticed my body was stamped 1994. Musta been one of the first 1995's off the line. Or its just some arbritrary 1994.

I swear to god i could have read 2 on Willwren's history page on bonevilles.

Straight from Bills site

SE and SSE

Exhaust on the SE included an exhaust manifold, a single exhuast with a catalytic converter, and single inlet with single outlet on the muffler coming out the passenger side. There were 2 heated O2 sensors, and no resonator. This model used an electronic EGR valve. The SSE used the same exhaust as the SE, with the exception of the dual muffler outlets coming out on either side of the rear of the car, and also had an electronic EGR valve
SSEi

Exhaust on the SSEi included an exhaust manifold (no headers), and a single exhuast with a catalytic converter, and muffler with a single inlet with dual outlets coming out on either side of the rear of the car. There were two heated O2 sensors, and a resonator. The SSEi used an electronic EGR valve

Now you're confusing ME!

Did someone find another error? That's been awhile......

Bassplayincrowe 07-14-2003 03:57 PM

I could swear there was only 1...hmm i'll have to go crawling. But later cause its raining.

SSEi95 07-14-2003 04:03 PM

There is only 1. I have changed mine out before. I was at the dealer and went over the scematicts with the parts guy and only 1 showed up, at the top of the down pipe. Every other connection was accounted for. So if someone has 2 on a 95 SSEi, they truely have a unique car...lol

Only 1 on my '95 LSS...most manufacturers went to 2 in '96, when OBDII was required.

Bassplayincrowe 07-15-2003 12:25 AM

Well there ya have it Will....ya gotta go back to the history! :D

willwren 07-15-2003 05:12 AM
