Default Ok something has got to be wrong with my engine!!??

I have a 95 Bonneville SE 3800 Series II engine. No mods or nething yet. Just last week I have been noticing a problem with my engine. I feel like i've lost power in the engine..and if i give it some desent gas to the floor..not all the way but kinda 3/4'* down..from 10 mph -25 mph the engine kinda feels rumbly if you know what im saying. It seems semi-hesitant and slower or something. Once it hits 30 it feels fine from there. ..If i am cruising around 40 mph..and i give it some pedal it gets that rumble again..and its hesitant. It takes like 2 seconds to kick in then i'm fine. This is really pissing me off because i dont have that perspective anymore of me having a " powerfull " car. I tried putting mid-grade gas in it to see if that'd do anything...nope. The transmission fluid is fine and so is the oil. That'* all i checked. Lets see who knows there engines and please help me...I HAVE CIVICS TO DESTROY!!!

Could be too many things to list. The first thing to do in any situation like this is to scan for codes. That'll get you real close, if not point you right at the problem. Get some codes and get back here. There'* no sense in guessing on this one.

The "flash" feature was discontinued after 93, even though you're still OBD1 compliant like me. You have to use a scan tool. The good part of this is that the codes are a little more detailed and specific. The OBD1 scantools are cheaper than the OBD2, also.

I don't need a scantool, but I'm still considering getting one.

Don't worry about dropping a cylinder, it "sounds" like a maintenance thing more than anything else. So here comes the questions...

When'* the last time you changed your Tranny Fluid? If you've got mucky tranny fluid than it would over-work the engine. It sounds like at low-RPMs in different gears you're having problems. On a simple check it will sometimes look good, and still have a ton of muck.

How about Spark Plugs and Wires? Especially on forced-induction applications if you have the plugs or wires go bad then it'll be a biyotch on the low end. Even if yours isn't supercharged, and it'* been a while, change it.

Are all of your accessories working? If one of them starts to lock up or die then that'll put added stress on the engine and slow it down.

How about that thare air-filter of yours? They turn from engine friendly to intake restriction faster than some people like.
