Oil and Transmission Pan Bolts. How much torque?

Can someone check your manual to see what torque needs to be on the Transmission and Oil pan bolts.

Thanks

My manuals are at home, and I'm not, but usually the word is "hand-tight," "evenly snug," and that kind of thing. You don't actually torque those down (in foot/lbs.) or you'll just crush the gaskets and/or the pan lip.

I changed the oil in my Xmission last year and according to my Olds Service Manual(which should be about the same for Pontiacs) the Torque Specifications for the Xmission Oil Pan Bolts are 12-13 Ft. Lbs. Works for me.

Yep I think the trans are 14 lbs. I tightened to to the point where I wasnt using any real force... like just my fingers.

Ayup, second that. (The scale on my torque wrench doesn't even _start_ until 20 ft./lbs.)
