Default Oil leak...Where?

I have a small oil leak..not really leaking but i can see that it looks wet under there..where ever it is it is above the oil pan..beacuse it leaks down onto it.....it keeps everything kinda wet looking..where you know it is fresh oil..howver it has been doing this for months and i have never had to add oil....where could the leak be coming from?

thanks

Default Oil Leaks

I'm with JR. I just had mine replaced again, Started leaking, looked like around the oil pan. Was really the intake manifold gasket that seals the lifter area.

Default Oil Leak

Got news for you.. replaced intake, valve covers and mine is still leaking like a sive... Going to replace the oil pan and oil filter bracket gaskets next. Then possibly the timing cover........ this is very frustrating...

Default Oil leaks all over underside of car

Did any of you finally find where your oil was coming from? I recently bought an oil pan and gasket thinking that is where the problem is, but now I am not sure. Reading your posts, it sounds like it may be coming from the lower intake manifold gasket.

I have already replace the upper intake with the Dorman unit hoping that would help, but it didn't.

I get so much oil splashed on the bottom of the car, that when I idle for very long, you smell the oil being burned off of the catylitic converter and exhaust system.

Any ideas?

Thanks
Andy

Could be front engine cover gasket. Mine does the same thing, leaks like a seive. Gonna fix it when I have some time.

Default Oil Leaks

It'* a VIN 1 engine... Just replaced the pan gasket and the oil filter adapter gasket this weekend. Haven't started it yet... Tanking the blower apart and changing the coupler. Also installing the NOS NOSzle direct port nitrous setup. Will take a couple of more weekends..... May port and polish the heads and match the intake and throttle body also... will see when I get it apart...
