Default Replacement starter bolt

My starter decided to let out the magic scent last night. Had it towed home, and pushed it onto ramps this morning. Replaced the starter, and now it starts, but the long bolt got stripped on the end. I was able to tighten the remaining bolt enough so that it wasn't grinding on the flywheel. But four or five starts later, it'* getting worse.

I've been to Home Depot, Lowe'*, Advance, and AutoZone, but no one has this bolt. Can't even find it on RockAuto.

The bolt is metric Grade 10.9, 7/16" (surprisingly not M12) diameter, fine-threaded, about 4" long, has a 15 mm head. Where can I get one of these? I'd gladly pay out the nose for this.

My dealer (Wolcott Auto Sales) is about 20 miles, but the last time I was there, I drove it off the lot. Closest Pontiac dealer (Stephen Auto Mall) is six miles; bought my first car there; doubt they'd remember me.

I guess they'd be the go-to guys, though if either still had parts for a 13-year-old car, I'd be amazed. Anyone had similar experiences?

1, 2, 3 4... lost count again. How many you need?

You should have called and cruised up. Nick was here tonight. It'* a regular motorfest going on. Cars keep multiplying .. current count is 5 outside.

Just the single long one, Bill, on the rear side of the starter. If you think you're cheaper than a dealer, I'll drive up tomorrow night… assuming I still have a flywheel in the morning.

(I'll survive the day. I'm carrying a 15 mm socket with me.)

And here I was thinking that all of your cars had starters in them, lol.

Great! I'll shoot up after work. (Earlier, if they let me.)

All my cars do have starters.

There are about 3+ engines a year that get swapped at my place. This leads to many extra bolts. Some come with starters and other extras. Which explains why the shelf has more weight on it than it'* rated for. I have a tough time throwing out good parts.

I'm home about 3;30, off to the gym then home. Give me a shout if you are heading up before 5pm. That way I can plan for you. You may flip when you see the garage. There'* two cam builds happening at the moment.
